Village Colors & Info
Village locations are marked on the map. Hover over a marker for coordinates. Colors indicate the village type (on supported versions):
- Zombie (Abandoned)
- Desert
- Plains
- Savanna
- Taiga
- Snowy
Limitations
The map shows potential village locations based on the game's structure generation algorithm. However, villages might fail to generate in-game if the terrain is unsuitable (e.g., too steep, obstructed). Therefore, not every marker guarantees a village will be present at that exact spot.
Credits: This tool utilizes map generation logic adapted from the Chunkbase website. Bedrock Edition support relies on data made possible by the bedrockified project.
How to Use
- Enter Seed: Type your Minecraft world seed into the "Seed" input box. You can use numbers or text (like in Minecraft). If you don't know your seed, use the `/seed` command in Java Edition (if you have permissions) or check your world settings in Bedrock.
- Select Version: Choose the correct Minecraft version (and world type like Large Biomes if applicable) from the dropdown. This is crucial for accuracy.
- Explore Map: The map will load, showing potential village locations.
- Drag: Click and drag the map to move around.
- Zoom: Use your mouse wheel or the zoom slider.
- Go To Coordinates: Enter X and Z coordinates and click "Go" to jump to a specific location.
- Identify Villages: Hover your mouse over a colored dot on the map to see its coordinates.
- Toggle Grid: Use the "Grid Lines" checkbox to show/hide chunk borders.
