About Woodland Mansions
Woodland Mansions are massive structures found exclusively in Dark Forest biomes, often very far from the world spawn point. Added in Minecraft 1.11 (Java), they are inhabited by Illagers (Vindicators and Evokers) and are the only place to obtain the Totem of Undying (dropped by Evokers).
Mansions are procedurally generated with a variety of possible rooms, some common and some rare, often containing chests with loot or hidden secrets.
This finder shows the coordinates (X, Z) where a Woodland Mansion structure attempts to generate. Note that mansions require a significant amount of space within a Dark Forest biome and might fail to generate if the terrain is unsuitable or too close to other structures.
How to Use
- Enter Seed: Type your Minecraft world seed (or load from `level.dat`).
- Select Version: Choose the correct Minecraft version (1.11+ Java, 1.14+ Bedrock recommended for accuracy).
- Explore Map: The map will load, highlighting potential Woodland Mansion locations with mansion icons. Mansions are rare and typically generate thousands of blocks away from spawn (0,0).
- Drag: Click and drag to move. You may need to scroll a long way!
- Zoom: Use mouse wheel or zoom slider. Zoom out to scan large areas.
- Go To Coordinates: Enter X and Z block coordinates.
- Get Mansion Coordinates: Interact with a highlighted marker (hover/click/tap) to see the approximate coordinates of the mansion below the map (usually the northwest corner).
- Toggle Grid: Use the "Grid Lines" checkbox.
